Frank Rossiter was born into a musical family and played Trombone, initially for Tayport Instrumental Brass Band. After a short spell as an officer in the Merchant Navy, Frank settled back in Dundee and played with Khan, Mafia and with the Sands Band and the East Coast Jazz men.
He also recorded , toured and played with Michael Marra's 'Gaels Blue Orchestra' and 'Danny Wilson' throughout the 80's. Frank also played the harmonica, both blues and chromatic and was an integral part of the East Coast Jazzmen until an accident in 2023 compromised his ability to play Trombone to the virtuosic standard he was used to.
However, undaunted, Frank has started a new Trio with Kenny Irons and Kevin Murray featuring his chromatic Harmonica as Lead instrument.
